The Y2K readiness defines that the product will correctly
process, provide, and receive data within and between the 20th and 21st centuries and properly recognize that year
2000 is a leap year.
Our modems, network interface cards (NIC), hubs and monitors do not rely on time or date in order to process, provide,
or receive data. The modems and NIC cards rely on a separate API (application program interface) or software. You
should contact the appropriate software manufacturer for Y2K compliance of third party software.
Our notebook computers have been tested for the Y2K readiness and are in compliance according to the definition
stated above.
Please visit our File Library page for BIOS updates for notebook computers.
