MaxTech Monitors purchased before November 1996 carry a two year warranty.
MaxTech Monitors purchased since November 1996 carry a three year warranty.
During the warranty period, MaxTech warrants to the original buyer of this product against defects in material
and workmanship from the date of purchase
Except as specified below, this warranty covers all defects in material or workmanship in this product.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Any product which is not distributed in North America by Maxtech or which is not purchased in North America
from an authorized Maxtech Dealer.
- Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
- Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
- Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature, commercial or industrial
use, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
- Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by MaxTech.
- Any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).
- Removal or installation of the product.
- Any other cause cases, batteries, external cabinets, magnetic tapes or any accessories used in connection with
the product.
Maxtech will pay all material labor and material expenses for covered items, but we will not pay for the following:
- Removal or installation charges.
- Costs of initial technical adjustments (set-up), including adjustment of user controls.
- Payment of shipping charges.
